Project Overview HRSD is undertaking a major project to install approximately 2,600 linear feet of pipeline in Indian River Road from the intersection of Lila Lane and Indian River Road to the Ferrell Parkway and Indian River Road split. Construction within the roadway will take place between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. The work will also include approximately 900 linear feet of pipeline along Kempsville Road from the intersection of Canterford Lane and Kempsville Road to the intersection of Indian River Road and Kempsville Road. These pipelines are needed to convey wastewater generated by area homes and businesses to HRSD treatment plants. The new pipelines will replace the existing pipelines and will improve system operations. The Frequently Asked Questions page provides more information about the project.
