Mr. Hentz, PBS&J's national principle technical professional for water and wastewater practices, has more than 23 years of experience as a process engineer for water, wastewater, biosolids, sludge, leachate, and air emission control facilities. His responsibilities range from preliminary studies to final design and construction of facility improvements.
Since odors are very closely associated with sludge and biosolids facilities, Mr. Hentz has also developed a national reputation for technological advances in odor control. |
| Mr. Hentz is the Biosolids Task Manager for the Water Environment Research Foundation (WERF) Assessment of Odor Sources and Technologies. He also holds 2 patents in Methods of an Apparatus for Removing Odors from Process Airstreams and is a contributing author of the Water Environment Federation's (WEF's) Biological Nutrient Removal Manual and Odor Control Manual. He is a registered PE in 6 states, Washington DC and the NCEES. He is also a diplomate in the American Academy of Enviromental Engineers. |
