Treatment

Treatment is responsible for discharge permit compliance, operation, and maintenance of HRSD’s 13 treatment plants. Each major plant has its own manager and is run independently as a part of the overall system.


The Small Communities Division (responsible for four small treatment plants and 23 pump stations), Physical Plant Division, Recycling, and Safety also are part of the Treatment Department.
