Water Quality Department Water Quality supports HRSD by protecting treatment plants and the environment through industrial control, complying with and formulating laws and regulations, providing technical support and monitoring services, and promoting wastewater reuse. We apply the latest scientific knowledge and practices, and state-of-the-art technology to produce quality and innovative results. We operate in an environment embracing teamwork, consensus building, and promoting personal and professional growth. The Department includes four divisions - the Central Environmental Laboratory, Pretreatment and Pollution Prevention, Technical Services and Water Reuse. Environmental monitoring and analytical services are provided at cost for government agencies, as part of our Municipal Assistance Program. |
