Thompson Avenue Pump Station & West Point and Urbanna Sewer Rehabilitation

Body

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking a project to rehabilitate a West Point Pump Station located at 470 Thompson Avenue in West Point. These pump station improvements will increase capacity, improve reliability, and reduce maintenance issues currently affecting the pump station. Additionally, sections of sanitary sewer pipes and manholes located at several locations throughout West Point and Urbanna will be rehabilitated. Rehabilitating the existing pump station and gravity sanitary sewer pipes with new modernized infrastructure will help to ensure wastewater capacity is adequate and will optimize HRSD’s ability to protect public health and the environment for decades to come. See the Project Map and Roads Affected sections for more location details. The answers to some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are provided here.
