Construction Update:

• Beginning as early as May 19, sanitary sewer pipeline installation will occur in the vicinity of your home/business at the intersection of Versailles Avenue and Lafayette Boulevard as well as the intersection of Fontainebleau Crescent and Lafayette Boulevard.
• This portion of work will be completed via Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD). This means that a sewer pipe will be installed in a trenchless manner by drilling a tunnel underground and pulling the pipe through rather than open-cutting a trench to install the pipeline. It should create less disturbance to the road than an open-cut trench method.
• Be aware, traffic patterns will shift and will include detours to through traffic as well as lane closures with flagging at intersections. Access to homes/businesses will be available.
• This work will temporarily require the use of some parking spaces along Fontainebleau Crescent and Versailles Avenue. These parking spaces will be marked off, and alternate streets or driveways should be used. Failure to move vehicles before the start of work on May 19 will result in towing the vehicle at the owner’s expense.
• This work should not affect your water or sewer services.
• This portion of the work is anticipated to be completed in 1 to 2 months. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change or be extended.
