HRSD Commissioners Stern and Taraski Receive Reappointments
VIRGINIA BEACH -- HRSD Commissioner Nancy J. Stern of Belle Haven and Elizabeth A. Taraski, Ph.D., of Suffolk have been reappointed by Governor Glenn Youngkin to each serve additional four-year terms on the eight-member HRSD Commission. Ms. Stern, entering her second term, was first appointed to the HRSD Commission in 2021. This is the third term for Ms. Taraski, who was first appointed in 2017. The HRSD Commission meets monthly and sets policy, provides direction and approves the HRSD budget. Commission members reside in the localities comprising HRSD’s service area and serve four-year terms
