Lucas Creek Pump Station Replacement
--Notice of Night Work--
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will be installing new sanitary sewer pipe behind the existing Lucas Creek Pump Station. This work should take place 24 hours/day, Monday – Friday.
Construction Update
- Beginning as early as September 15, the work to connect (tie-in) the newly installed sanitary sewer pipe to the existing sanitary sewer pipe will begin in the vicinity of your home/business.
- The work requires the use of light towers for the evening/night phase of the operation. These light towers will get stationed and turned to cause the least impact to the neighbors but expect to see additional lighting on site.
- Construction noises include the use of vacuum truck pumps to remove wastewater from the existing pipe, saw cutting of the existing pipe, use of a pump, construction equipment, and light tower generator.
- Be aware, traffic patterns will shift and include the detours and shifted traffic lanes to through traffic. Traffic control measures and detours will be in place. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained.
- This work is scheduled to occur 24 hours/day until the work is complete.
- This work should not affect your water or sewer services.
- This portion of the work is anticipated to be completed in one week. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change or be extended.
While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise and traffic, along with the people and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent, and dates are subject to change.
