Emergency Sewer Line Repair
--Temporary Road Closure at Jolliff Road near Goose Creek Flyway--
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is working to repair a line break that occurred on Thursday evening, February 27, on Jolliff Road near the intersection of Goose Creek Flyway. In order to investigate the leak and repair the pipe, crews have put in place a road closure and detour for motorists. A map of the detour is provided on the back of this notice.
Repair Update:
- Work is currently underway to investigate and repair the pipe.
- Traffic control is in place to detour motorists around the work.
- This work should not affect your water or sewer services.
- This emergency repair work and road restoration do not have an anticipated completion date yet as they have to determine the amount of work involved.
While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, crews, and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to make these repairs.
Our communities will have clean waterways and reliable water resources for generations to come.
