Our major treatment plants received the following awards in recognition of their outstanding permit compliance status: Army Base Plant—Gold, Atlantic—Gold, Boat Harbor—Platinum (17 consecutive years), Chesapeake-Elizabeth—Gold, James River—Platinum (5 consecutive years), Nansemond—Platinum (17 consecutive years), Virginia Initiative Plant—Platinum (23 consecutive years), Williamsburg—Platinum (24 consecutive years) and York River—Platinum (11 consecutive years). Treatment plants in the Small Communities Division earned the following honors: Central Middlesex—Silver, King William—Silver, Lawnes Point—Gold, Surry County—Gold, Urbanna—Silver and West Point—Silver.
