Sanitary Sewer System Valve Improvements
--Utility Work to Continue--
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, plans to replace a valve on the sewer pipe located on the south side of Dare Road between Allens Mill Road and Albacore Drive. This work should take place Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Due to the nature of this upcoming work, some periods of 24/7 “around the clock” work may be required to install the utility pipeline.
Construction Update
- Beginning as early as September 28, valve replacement work will begin in the vicinity of your home/business.
- Be aware, traffic patterns could be impacted. Flaggers will direct traffic as required, and access to all residents and businesses will be maintained throughout construction.
- Traffic barriers along Dare Road will remain in place to allow the contractors safe access to the area while they complete the work.
- If “around the clock” work is expected to occur, the homes/businesses closest to this work will be notified by the contractor.
- This work is anticipated to be completed in 2-3 months. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change.
While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, crews, and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.
