Kiln Creek/Patrick Henry Area Sewer Pipe Replacement
--Milling and Paving Work to begin--
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin to mill and pave sections of HQ Way and the Yoder Plaza Shopping Center parking lot access road and the areas along Hancock Drive and Hamilton Drive that were excavated for the Kiln Creek/Patrick Henry Mall Area Sewer Pipe Replacement project. This work is scheduled to take place Saturday-Monday between the hours of 9 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Construction Update:
- Beginning as early as December 6th, milling and paving work will begin in the vicinity of your home/business.
- Be aware, traffic patterns will be affected and will include alternating lane closures along HQ way from the intersection of HQ Way and the Yoder Plaza Shopping Center parking lot access road to the intersection of HQ Way and Jefferson Avenue. Also anticipate lane closures along the access road between HQ Way and the entrance driveway to Core Pilates and The Original Mattress Factory and along Hancock Drive and Hamilton Drive. (please refer to map on the back of this notice).
- Traffic will be directed by flaggers from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Access to all residents and businesses will be maintained throughout construction.
- This work should not affect your water or sewer services.
- This section of work is anticipated to be completed in 2-3 days. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change.
While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, crews, and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.
