--Project Update--

Bainbridge Boulevard Sewer Pipeline Update

map

Work at the intersection of Swain Avenue and Bainbridge Boulevard is complete, and Swain Avenue is now open.

Sewer pipe installation is currently occurring on Bainbridge Boulevard at the intersection of Wilbur Avenue and moving south toward Swain Avenue.

During pipeline construction, Bainbridge Boulevard will be closed in the northbound lane around the construction areas near Wilbur Avenue. Residents on Wilbur Avenue can access their homes via local traffic routes depicted in blue on the map to the right.

The pipeline construction is planned to be completed by late 2025.

Ferebee Avenue Pump Station Update

map

Following the installation of formwork and rebar, concrete was poured in late October and early November to form further sections of the new pump station’s walls. Recent work includes the placement of reinforcing steel and application of damp proofing material.

During material deliveries, soil/debris removal, or concrete pours at the station site, southbound traffic on Bainbridge Boulevard may be reduced to one lane for the safety of our contractor crews and customers.

Final pump station construction is expected to be completed by early 2027.

Park Avenue Pump Station Update

Construction continues at the pump station to prepare for start-up, including the installation of generator components, calibration of flow meters, and the testing of pumps. Construction is ongoing through late 2025.

While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased traffic and noise such as drilling, engines, backup alarms, diesel generators and motors, along with the people and heavy equipment associated with construction. Please proceed with caution when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the work zone.

  • Vibration monitors are in place to ensure that vibration levels are kept below the allowed threshold.

  • Your water and sewer service will not be disrupted.

  • Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent, and dates are subject to change
