Service Area

HRSD provides service to 20 cities and counties of southeast Virginia and the Eastern Shore, an area of nearly 5,000 square miles with a population of more than 1.9 million. We operate eight major treatment plants and eight smaller plants with a combined treatment capacity of 225 million gallons per day.

You may request a drawing by sending an e-mail to dpq@hrsd.com. Please provide your name, organization, address and phone number in the message and describe your specific need and the location of interest.

Record Drawing Requests

HRSD keeps all construction related drawings for existing plant, pump station, pipeline and administration facilities in electronic format. These drawings are in either Auto CAD (.dwg) or Raster (.tif) format.

You may request a drawing by sending an e-mail to dpq@hrsd.com. Please provide your name, organization, address and phone number in the message and describe your specific need and the location of interest. We will either email the information or provide it on a CD, which can be mailed to you. You also can choose to pick up the CD at our main office.

The Customer Care Center serves as the primary point of contact for customers who wish to pay their bills in person or by phone, have questions about their HRSD/HRUBS bills or HRSD charges and rates.

The Procurement Department is responsible for purchasing, renting, leasing or otherwise acquiring goods and services. This division also manages vendor relationships and the disposal of surplus property.
