NEWPORT NEWS – Motorists are advised that HRSD crews will be testing utilities on the corner of Lucas Creek Road and Old Lucas Creek Road. This work will require closure of a portion of Old Lucas Creek Road and the right northbound lane of Lucas Creek Road on weekdays only from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. beginning Thursday, March 20 until Tuesday, March 25. Residents and emergency responders will have access to Old Lucas Creek Road with flaggers onsite to direct traffic.

NEWPORT NEWS – Motorists are advised that HRSD crews will be testing utilities on the corner of Lucas Creek Road and Old Lucas Creek Road. This work will require closure of the right northbound lane of Lucas Creek Road from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. beginning Tuesday, March 18 until Friday March 21. Residents, emergency responders, and school buses will have access to Old Lucas Creek Road with flaggers onsite to direct traffic.

NEWPORT NEWS – Motorists are advised that HRSD crews will be pressure testing the newly installed sanitary sewer pipe along Old Lucas Creek Road as part of the Lucas Creek Pump Station Replacement. During this work, Old Lucas Creek Road will remain closed to through traffic. Residents and emergency vehicles will continue to have access to Old Lucas Creek Road with flaggers onsite directing traffic.

NEWPORT NEWS – Motorists are advised that HRSD crews are installing utilities at the Lucas Creek pump station as part of the Lucas Creek Pump Station Replacement. During this work, Old Lucas Creek Road will remain closed to through traffic. Residents and emergency vehicles will continue to have access to Old Lucas Creek Road with flaggers onsite to direct traffic. The detour is scheduled to begin as early as February 28, and expected to remain in place until Tuesday, March 4.

Smoke testing of the sanitary sewer system will take place within the neighborhood of Sedgefield in the City of Newport News from late February into early March.

--Riverview Farm Park Trails--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will be installing under road piping beneath Riverview Parkway that will affect a trail in Riverview Farm Park (please refer to the map below). This work is scheduled to occur from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (Monday-Friday).

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will be installing under road piping beneath Riverview Parkway (please refer to the map on the back of this notice). To accomplish this task this work is scheduled to occur at night.  This night work is scheduled to occur from 3:00 pm to 3:00 am (Monday-Friday).

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin milling and paving at the City of Newport News Riverview Gymnastics Center Access Road and portions of the Parking Lot (please refer to the map on the back of this notice). To accomplish this task this work is scheduled to occur at night. This night work is scheduled to occur from 3:00 pm to 2:00 am.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will continue milling and paving work along Criston Drive through Hancock Drive to restore the roadway surface conditions. This work should take place primarily during daytime hours.
