Road Closure, Flagging Operation at Old Lucas Creek Road in Newport News for Construction Activity

NEWPORT NEWS – Motorists are advised that HRSD crews will be pressure testing the newly installed sanitary sewer pipe along Old Lucas Creek Road as part of the Lucas Creek Pump Station Replacement. During this work, Old Lucas Creek Road will remain closed to through traffic. Residents and emergency vehicles will continue to have access to Old Lucas Creek Road with flaggers onsite directing traffic. The detour is scheduled to begin as early as Monday, March 10, and is expected to remain in place on weekdays only during the hours of 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., until Friday, March 14.
