Road Closure, Detour Scheduled for Portion of Old Lucas Creek Road in Newport News
NEWPORT NEWS – Motorists are advised that HRSD crews will be setting concrete structures for the new Lucas Creek Pump Station. This work will require a full closure of Old Lucas Creek Road between Debbie Lane and Lucas Creek Road on weekdays only from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. beginning Friday, April 18 through Wednesday, April 23. All vehicles, including school buses and emergency responders, will need to follow the marked detour using Lucas Creek Road and Denbigh Boulevard as shown below.
