James River Treatment Plant SWIFT Improvements

Body

--Notice of Ongoing Work--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, continues work to implement the Sustainable Water Initiative for Tomorrow Program (SWIFT) at the James River Treatment Plant. Test piling will occur intermittently on HRSD’s James River Treatment Plant property.  This work should take place primarily between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. This work will commence during the day on December 12th and run intermittently until Thursday, December 30th.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Test piling is in progress at the James River Treatment Plant property. This work will occur intermittently from the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.
  • This work is anticipated to be completed by December 30th.
  • Work is weather and situation dependent, and dates may be extended.

While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, and the use of heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.

Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change. For more information, please visit the project’s web page, www.hrsd.com/james-river-tp-swift-improvements

Thank you for your support of this effort to help achieve HRSD's vision:

Future generations will inherit clean waterways and be able to keep them clean.
