Williamsburg Sanitary Sewer Pipeline Replacement

Body

--Project Closeout Notification--

The contractor for HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, has completed the replacement pipeline installation project in your area.

As the newly installed pipeline is now in service, the contractor will begin the removal of portions of the old pipeline no longer being used. This work has been rescheduled from the originally planned timeframe of November. You may notice the contractor performing this work adjacent to your residence within the existing easement.

Once this work has been completed, final restoration efforts will begin to include: site cleanup, restoration of Carters Grove Country Road where disturbed by construction, grading and tree and grass plantings. Tree plantings will occur in the fall when most conducive to successful planting.

This work should begin this month between the hours of 8 a.m.to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and is estimated to take three months to complete. This work is weather and situation dependent.

HRSD maintains a one-year warranty period with the contractor to review items that may need to be addressed after final restoration. If you have any areas of concern, please let us know so these items may be addressed through this process.

HRSD would like to thank you for your understanding and patience during this important effort to help achieve HRSD’s vision:

Future generations will inherit clean waterways and are able to keep them clean.
