Wythe Creek Road Sewer Replacement
--Utility Work to Continue--
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will continue work to install a sanitary sewer pipeline along Wythe Creek Road. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Construction Update:
- Due to the sanitary sewer and site restoration work that began on January 8th (please refer to construction notice number 14), steel plates will be installed periodically overnight.
- Following the daytime work, steel plates will be installed periodically overnight within the roadway, and the plates will move with work as construction progresses down the road.
- Vehicular traffic over steel plates may cause increased noise. Please refer to the back of this notice for an image of a steel plate.
- Driveway access may be impacted during some of this work. If access could be impacted, the contractor will notify you in advance to make arrangements.
- This work should not affect your water or sewer services.
- The steel plates are anticipated to move every 3-4 days as work progresses down Wythe Creek Road. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change.
While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, crews, and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.
