James River Treatment Plant SWIFT Improvements
-- Night Work to continue --
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will be installing under road piping beneath Riverview Parkway (please refer to the map on the back of this notice). To accomplish this task this work is scheduled to occur at night. This night work is scheduled to occur from 3:00 pm to 3:00 am (Monday-Friday).
Pipe Installation Operations:
- Work along Riverview Parkway will continue and will include under-road pipe installation.
- This work will take place Monday-Friday during the afternoon hours into the early morning (3:00 pm to 3:00 am) on Riverview Parkway south of Riverview Gymnastics Center Entrance.
- Riverview Parkway traffic will be reduced to one lane in this area and will include intermittent detours through Riverview Gymnastics Center. Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic.
- This work should not affect your water or sewer services.
- This work should take approximately 3-4 weeks. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change.
While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise and traffic, along with the people and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.
