Phoebus Area Sanitary Sewer Extension
--Utility Work to Occur--
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin work to install a sanitary sewer pipeline within W. County Street between Woodland Road and Bainbridge Ave. This work will mostly occur between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday – Friday. There is a possibility for some work to occur between 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday – Friday if it is necessary for work to occur in 2 lanes of traffic. Work occurring overnight will be minimized to the extent possible.
Construction Update:
- Beginning as early as August 17th, pipe installation work will begin in the vicinity of your home/business.
- This work will take place mostly during daytime hours and predominately in the road. The City may require some work to be performed at night if it is necessary for work to occur in 2 lanes of traffic. Night work may occur but will be minimized to the extent possible.
- Be aware, partial street closures will occur, and traffic control measures will be in place to maintain road access.
- This work should not affect your water service; you will be notified in advance of any limited sewer service interruptions.
- The work is expected to be completed in 6-8 weeks. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change.
While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, and the use of heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.
