Robin Hood Road Sewer Replacement

Body

--Milling and Paving to Occur--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin milling and paving work along Robin Hood Road to restore the roadway surface conditions now that the installation of the new sanitary sewer pipeline is complete.

Construction Update:

  • Beginning as early as October 1, milling and paving work will occur from the intersection of Chesapeake Boulevard and Robin Hood Road, eastbound along Robin Hood Road to Birch Street.
  • Be aware, traffic patterns will shift and will include lane closures with flagging. Traffic control measures will be in place.
  • The contractor will ensure that access to residences will be maintained throughout construction.
  • This work should not affect your water or sewer services.
  • This portion of the work is expected to be completed in approximately two weeks. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change.

While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, crews, and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.

Thank you for your support of this effort to help achieve HRSD's vision:

Our communities will have clean waterways and reliable water resources for generations to come.
