--Early Morning Work to Occur--
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, continues work to replace a sanitary sewer pipeline located along Huxley Place. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a potential for one brief period of 24/7 "around the clock" work to install a utility connection.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- The upcoming work is scheduled on Huxley Place near the intersection of Carnegie Drive and may potentially need a brief period of 24/7 "around the clock" construction to install a utility connection and allow the bypass sewer pipe system to work effectively.
- This work will begin early Tuesday morning, November 10th. It is anticipated that the work will be complete by the end of the day. However, if extra time is needed, the work will continue overnight until complete.
- When the utility connection work is complete, crews will return to their normal working hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. until pipeline work is complete.
- Flaggers will guide traffic around the pipe installation during working hours.
This work should not affect your water or sewer services. Advance notification will be given ahead of any planned disruption to water or sewer services.
While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, and the use of heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.
Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation-dependent, and dates are subject to change. For updates, please visit the project's website page, www.hrsd.com/huxley-place
Thank you for your support of this effort to help achieve HRSD's vision:
Future generations will inherit clean waterways and be able to keep them clean.
