Sanitary Sewer Pipeline Inspection and Maintenance

Body

--Utility Work to Begin--

--Revised Dates--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking a project to inspect and perform maintenance on the sanitary sewer piping along Hamilton Avenue. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Construction Update:

  • Beginning as early as January 20th, HRSD’s contractor will begin work along Hamilton Avenue between Woodrow Street and Hartford Street.
  • This work will require a single lane closure on Hamilton Avenue. Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic around the work as required. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained.
  • Street parking may be limited while lane closures are in place.
  • This work is expected to be completed within 1-2 weeks with the contractor being on-site intermittently. Permanent restoration may take up to 3-4 weeks depending on weather impacts. Work is weather and situation dependent, and dates are subject to be extended.

While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, crews, and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.

Thank you for your support of this effort to help achieve HRSD's vision:

Our communities will have clean waterways and reliable water resources for generations to come.
