Sanitary Sewer Pipeline Inspection and Maintenance

Body

--Utility Work to Occur--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking a project to inspect and perform maintenance on the sanitary sewer piping along North Mallory Street between E. Sherwood Avenue and Central Street. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Helpful Information:

  • Beginning as early as July 28, HRSD’s contractor will begin work along North Mallory Street in the vicinity of your property between E. Sherwood Avenue and Central Street.
  • This work will require the closure of the right lane along North Mallory Street. Traffic control measures will be in place to direct traffic around the work as required. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained.
  • This work is expected to be completed within 1-2 weeks with the contractor being on-site intermittently. Permanent restoration may take up to 3-4 weeks depending on weather impacts. Work is weather and situation dependent, and dates are subject to be extended.

While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, crews, and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.

Thank you for your support of this effort to help achieve HRSD’s vision:

Our communities will have clean waterways and reliable water resources for generations to come.
