Indian Summer Drive Sanitary Sewer Replacement

Body

--Utility Work to Begin--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will continue work to replace sanitary sewer pipelines along Indian Summer Drive on the property of Four Seasons Apartments. This effort will provide HRSD flexibility to make changes to the systems operation during maintenance or emergencies. The work will take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday – Friday

Construction Update:

  • Beginning as early as August 22, pipe installation work will continue in the vicinity of your home/business.
  • The construction hours have been extended which should minimize the amount of time HRSD’s system is offline while sanitary sewer pipelines are being replaced.
  • Be aware, this work will take place predominately in the roadway which will cause traffic patterns to shift and will include partial street closures. Traffic control measures and detours will be in place around the clock during this portion of work.
  • This work could result in some unpleasant odors in the vicinity of Indian Summer Drive.
  • This work should not affect your water or sewer services and is weather and situation dependent.
  • This portion of the work is anticipated to be completed in 5-6 weeks.

While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, work crews and equipment (with back-up safety alarms) entering and exiting the site associated with this work. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.

Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change.

Please visit the project’s website page, York County and Hampton Pipe and Valve Installation and Replacement | HRSD.com for updates.

Thank you for your support of this effort to help achieve HRSD's vision:

Our communities will have clean waterways and reliable water resources for generations to come.
