Huxley Place Sewer Extension Project

--Paving Continues Along Huxley Place--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, continues work to complete the sewer pipeline project located along Huxley Place. The new pipeline has been installed, and restoration work is ongoing. Crews will repave Huxley Place as part of the restoration work. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • Due to an anticipated weather delay, the completion of the surface paving will continue beginning approximately July 6. Paving crews will work to install surface pavement along the western side (southbound lane) of Huxley Place, from Dove Court north to the end of Huxley Place.
  • Please use an alternate route to avoid Huxley Place from the Marrow Drive intersection to the Dove Court intersection, from approximately July 6th to July 9th. Flaggers and traffic control will guide traffic around construction during this phase of the work.
  • Huxley Place, between Marrow Drive and Dove Court will be periodically blocked as paving takes place. Local traffic will be directed through or around the work zone.
  • This work can be weather and situation dependent and should not affect your water or sewer services. If your water or sewer services will be affected, you will be notified ahead of time.

While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, and the use of heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.

Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change. For more information, please visit the project’s web page,

Thank you for your support of this effort to help achieve HRSD's vision:

Future generations will inherit clean waterways and be able to keep them clean.
