--Porter Street Access--
As early as Monday, June 27, the contractor for HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin construction to replace aging sewer pipes on Park Avenue in front of Rena B. Wright Elementary School. This work will not affect your water or sewer services and is expected to be completed by September 5, 2022 (Labor Day).
- During construction, Park Avenue will be reduced to one lane of traffic.
- To enter and exit Porter Street, you will need to follow the route detailed on the back of this notice.
- If the entrance to Porter Street is blocked by the contractor, please contact Michael Hughs, On-Site Inspector, at (757) 692-5128. He will coordinate with you to ensure that you can enter or exit Porter Street.
