York County and Hampton Pipe and Valve Installation and Replacement
--Utility Work to Begin--
HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking a project to replace valves and associated piping, near the intersection of Commander Shepard Boulevard and Bellgrade Drive. This effort will provide HRSD flexibility to make changes to the systems operation during maintenance or emergencies. The work will take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.
Construction Update:
- Beginning as early as May 14, utility work will restart in the vicinity of your home/business.
- This work will take place predominately during daytime hours, in the right of way, and out of the roadway.
- This work should not affect your water or sewer services and is weather and situation dependent.
- This portion of the work is anticipated to be completed in 3-4 weeks. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change.
While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, crews, and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.
