Sanitary Sewer Pipeline Inspection and Maintenance Project

Body

--Work to Begin--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking a project to inspect and perform maintenance on the sanitary sewer piping along Old Dam Neck Road. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. beginning as early as Saturday, April 29th.  This work can be weather and situation dependent and should not affect your water or sewer services.

HELPFUL INFORMATION:

  • Beginning as early as April 29th, HRSD’s contractor will begin work near your property.
  • Access entrances to businesses or residents’ homes will remain open during this work.
  • The work will require a single lane closure on Old Dam Neck Road. Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic around the work as required.
  • This work will be performed between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to minimize impacts during construction.
  • This inspection and maintenance work is expected to be completed within 1-2 days. Permanent restoration may take up to 1-2 weeks depending on weather impacts. Work is weather and situation dependent, and dates are subject to be extended.

While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, work crews and equipment (with back-up safety alarms) entering and exiting the site associated with this work. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.

Thank you for your support of this effort to help achieve HRSD's vision:

Our communities will have clean waterways and reliable water resources for generations to come.
