- Pump and Haul Work to Occur (Pump Station 113) -

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is working to perform pipeline and manhole rehabilitation near the corner of Aberdeen Rd. and 58th Street. In order to rehabilitate the pipe and manhole, wastewater flow in needs to be diverted. To help reduce pressure in the sewer lines and to reduce flow at the pump stations, vactor trucks will be used to pump wastewater from pump station and haul it to another location. This pump and haul work is expected to occur primarily between the hours of 9pm-7am on the evening of Monday, February 12th. 

Construction information

  • Beginning the evening of February 12th, nighttime pump and haul work will begin in the vicinity of your home/business.
  • This work will take place primarily between 9pm-7am.
  • You may notice vactor trucks lining up along Granger Drive and Leon Lane and pumping from pump station 113 located 1030 Leon Lane. (for more information, please see the map on the back of this notice). Access to all residences and businesses will be maintained.
  • Some lighting may be used in the area if needed for the safety of the workers.
  • This work should not affect your water or sewer services.
  • This work is anticipated to be completed within 1-3 nights. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change or be extended.

While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, crews, and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with this effort. Please take care when around the work area and for your safety, do not enter the site.
