York County and Hampton Pipe and Valve Installation and Replacement

Body

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is planning a project to replace valves and associated piping at four locations in Hampton and York County. This effort will provide HRSD flexibility to make changes to its system operation during maintenance or emergencies. The answers to some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are provided here.

Project Overview

This project is located along Indian River Summer Drive on the property of Four Seasons Apartments. This project includes replacement of sanitary sewer and water pipes. Construction activities will take place primarily in the roadway and between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. This work will require a detour, and residents will not be able to enter or exit Four Seasons Apartments at the signalized interchange of Indian Summer Drive. All traffic will be required to enter/exit the property at Pinewood Crescent which turns into Thoreau Circle. Additionally, the parking lot on Windsong Lane just east of Indian Summer Drive, as depicted on the map, will not be available for use until the project is complete. This work should not affect your water or sewer services and is weather and situation dependent. This portion of the work is anticipated to be completed in 1-2 months.
