HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will continue work to replace a sanitary sewer pipeline located along Brick Kiln Boulevard near Bellows Way. This work should take place primarily during daytime hours. Due to the nature of this upcoming work, some periods of 24/7 “around the clock” work may be required to install the utility pipeline.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, continues work to implement the Sustainable Water Initiative for Tomorrow Program (SWIFT) at the James River Treatment Plant. Sheet piling will occur intermittently on HRSD’s James River Treatment Plant property. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 am. to 4 pm, Monday - Friday.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking improvements for the James River Treatment Plant SWIFT project. The construction at well site #7 (please see the map on the back for location information) will shift to 24-hour operations starting Friday, in order to complete this portion of work.

This work should take place primarily between the hours of 9 pm and 6 am.

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, is undertaking improvements for the James River Treatment Plant SWIFT project. The installation of over 1 mile of new trails adjacent to Riverview Farm Park and Menchville Marina and on HRSD’s and the City of Newport News’ property is underway. This work will typically take place during the hours of 7 am to 5 pm (Monday-Friday) in compliance with the project’s weekday work hours.
