Scheduled Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Will Require Overnight Lane Closure in City of Norfolk

VIRGINIA BEACH – Motorists are advised that HRSD is scheduled to perform overnight maintenance within portions of its sanitary sewer force main in the City of Norfolk this week as follows:

  • Norfolk – The two right westbound lanes of Virginia Beach Boulevard at Ingleside Road and the southbound right turn lane from Ingleside onto Virginia Beach Boulevard will be closed from 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8 until 5:00 a.m. Friday, February 9.

This work is weather dependent and subject to change or require additional time to complete and is required as part of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Wet Weather Consent Decree for Sanitary Sewer Overflows.
