Great Bridge Boulevard Sanitary Sewer Improvements

Body

--Utility Work to Continue--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin work to install a sanitary sewer pipeline along the access road to Luck Stone between Big Daddys Chrome and RS Andrews of Tidewater. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. The lane closure will be in place 24 hours/day.

Construction Update:

  • Beginning as early as February 17, sanitary sewer pipeline installation will begin in the vicinity of your business along the access road to Luck Stone between Big Daddys Chrome and RS Andrews of Tidewater.
  • Be aware, traffic patterns will include a partial lane closure. Flaggers will be on site to help direct traffic.
  • This work should not affect your water or sewer services.
  • This portion of the work is anticipated to be completed in 2 to 3 weeks. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent, and dates are subject to change or be extended.

While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, crews, and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.

Thank you for your support of this effort to help achieve HRSD's vision:

Our communities will have clean waterways and reliable water resources for generations to come.
