Construction Update:

• Beginning as early as July 8th, water line replacement will begin in the vicinity of your home/business.
• Be aware, street closures and detours will occur. During this work, S. Willard Avenue between Segar Street and E. Howard Street will have single lane closures. There will also be a detour from E. Howard to E. Mercury Boulevard and a road closure at the intersection of Sewell Avenue and Willard Avenue (Please refer to the map on the back of this notice). Flaggers will direct traffic as required. Access for all residents and businesses will be maintained throughout construction.
• This work will take place primarily during daytime hours.
• If work on your water lateral occurs, your water service may be impacted; the contractor will notify you in advance to allow for appropriate planning.
• Restoration of the area impacted by construction will be restored at the completion of the waterline installation.
• The water line replacement, described in this notice, and the detour from E. Howard to E. Mercury is anticipated to be completed in approximately 1-2 months. The work area, bypass from E. Howard Street to E. Mercury Boulevard and road closure at Sewell Avenue and Willard Avenue will be in place until Late 2024. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change.
