--Milling & Paving Work to Begin--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will begin work to repair the road associated with the newly installed sanitary sewer pipeline along Virginia Street and the intersection of Virginia Street and Cross Street. This work should take place primarily between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE:

  • Beginning as early as September 9, road repair work will begin in the vicinity of your home/business.
  • This road repair work will be along Virginia Street from Grace Avenue to Cross Street and at the intersection of Virginia Street and Cross Street. Work will include milling and paving of the affected roadways.
  • This work will take place during the daytime.
  • Be aware, the work will take place in the road. Partial lane closures will occur, and traffic control measures will be in place. Access to all residences and businesses will be maintained throughout construction.
  • The work is expected to be completed in 1 to 2 weeks. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change.

While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, crews, and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.

Please visit the project's webpage for more information and updates.
