-Temporary Road Closure Notice: Monroe Place Between Rockbridge and Magnolia Avenue-
Temporary Road Closure for Through Traffic
- Beginning as early as March 2, 2026, a temporary road closure for through traffic will be in place to support critical construction work for ongoing sewer improvements in your neighborhood.
- This work and road closure is anticipated to last approximately three weeks. Due to the nature of construction, dates and durations are subject to change or be extended.
- During this time, the contractor will be replacing and installing sanitary sewer pipe and manholes within the roadway. This work requires a short-term road closure to help protect residents, workers, and passing motorists.
The closure will take place on:
- Monroe Place between Rockbridge Avenue and Magnolia Avenue
Traffic & Access Information:
- Local access to homes within the road closure will be maintained at all times.
- Roads within the closure area will be open to local traffic only.
- Through-traffic will be detoured around the work zone using posted signage.
- Emergency vehicles will retain access at all times.
- Please see the map below for closure and detour information.
- At this time, sidewalk closures are not anticipated as part of this work; however, pedestrians should remain alert near the active construction area.
- Pedestrians are encouraged to exercise caution and remain alert when traveling near the active construction area.
Work Zone Safety Reminder
