PROJECT UPDATES – NOVEMBER 2022
Delay of Filling of Pits and Temporary Paving 
On November 8th (Construction Notice #13), we informed you that all manhole and initial road restoration on Park Avenue was estimated to be completed prior to Thanksgiving.
Unfortunately, a pipe on Park Avenue was damaged, and repairs must be completed prior to filling in the construction pits and repaving the road. The contractor is making repairs this week and preparing the road for paving in early December. The temporary road paving is now estimated to start by December 5th and complete by December 9th.
During this time, Park Avenue will remain reduced to one lane of traffic. To enter and exit Porter Street, please continue to follow the route detailed on this notice.
We apologize for this delay and thank you for your patience with the filling of the construction pits.
While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise and traffic, along with the people and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent, and dates are subject to change.
