Park Avenue Sewer Pipeline Work
and Restoration
The street restoration efforts on Park Avenue
are now complete! Vehicle traffic can access Rena B. Wright Elementary and residences in the area via the patched and temporarily resurfaced asphalt, as seen pictured to the right.
No more work is expected to occur on this portion of Park Avenue until Summer 2024. At that time, work on the Park Avenue Pump Station should be completed and a final asphalt treatment will be applied to Park Avenue. If anything changes regarding this timeline, we will let you know in advance of the work!
Park Avenue Pump Station Construction
Due to construction delays, excavation at the new Park Avenue Pump Station site will continue through the end of March. This work will occur directly on the pump station property itself, Monday – Friday between the hours of 7 AM – 7 PM. As a reminder, construction of this pump station is ongoing until Summer 2024.
While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise and traffic, along with the people and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent, and dates are subject to change.
