Richmond Crescent Pipeline Work

• Beginning as early as March 17th, our contractors will begin sanitary sewer line replacement construction on Richmond Crescent. Open-cut trenches will be excavated in the streets to place the pipelines needed to connect existing laterals and sewer pipes to the pump stations.
• Construction will take place in the westbound lane of Richmond Crescent. During this time, through traffic will be detoured around, the Elizabeth River Trail will be closed and detoured, and on-street parking will be closed in active pipeline construction zones. Residents will have access to their driveways, though there may be times when they are blocked temporarily due to the work. The contractors will work with residents to ensure that access is restored as quickly as possible.
• Your water and sewer service may be temporarily disrupted by this sanitary sewer replacement. The contractor will notify you before any utility disruptions.
• The new pipelines are anticipated to be completed in summer 2025. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent, and dates are subject to change or be extended.
