Bainbridge Boulevard Pipeline Work

Work to conduct excavation and replacement of existing sanitary sewer pipeline on Bainbridge Boulevard is resuming as early as September 23rd. Construction work is expected to occur Monday – Friday between the hours of 7 AM – 5 PM. The expected pipeline work period is two to three months.

As a result of the work on Bainbridge, the northbound side of Bainbridge Boulevard will be restricted to one lane between the west entrance to Southgate Plaza near Swain Avenue and Chapin Road to the south. Please refer to the image to the right to familiarize yourself with the area restricted. Residents on Bainbridge Boulevard and Swain Avenue will be able to access their homes via their normal routes.

While the contractors work, you may hear noises such as drilling, engines, backup alarms, diesel generators and motors. Vibration monitors will be located onsite and near the construction area to ensure limited disruption to you in your residence. Your water and sewer service will not be disrupted.

Dust control measures such as paving, frequent road cleaning and/or application of water will be enacted to reduce dust from becoming airborne. After construction, roadways and rights-of-way will be restored to their pre-construction structure and materials.
