Kiln Creek/Patrick Henry Mall Area Sewer Pipe Replacement

Body

--Utility Work to Continue--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will work to replace a sanitary sewer pipeline in the intersection of HQ Way and the Yoder Plaza Shopping Center parking lot access road and along HQ Way to Jefferson Avenue (please see the map below). This work should take place primarily between the hours of 9 pm and 6 am.

Construction Update:

  • Beginning as early as March 20, sewer pipe installation work will continue in the vicinity of your home/business.
  • To minimize disruptions, this work will take place during the nighttime. Daytime work is not anticipated, but if it needs to occur, the contractor will notify you in advance.
  • Be aware, traffic patterns will be affected and will include alternating lane closures in the intersection of HQ Way and the Yoder Plaza Shopping Center parking lot access road and the right exit lane of HQ Way to Jefferson Avenue (please refer to map on the back of this notice).
  • Traffic will be directed by flaggers from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Daytime travel is not anticipated to be impacted. Access to all residents and businesses will be maintained throughout construction.
  • This work should not affect your water or sewer services.
  • This section of work is anticipated to be completed in 2 - 3 weeks. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change.

While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, crews, and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.

Thank you for your support of this effort to help achieve HRSD's vision:

Our communities will have clean waterways and reliable water resources for generations to come.
