Kiln Creek/Patrick Henry Mall Area Sewer Pipe Replacement

Body

--Utility Work to Continue--

HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, will continue work to replace a sanitary sewer pipeline located along Criston Drive near River Bend Court. This work should take place primarily during daytime hours.

Construction Update:

  • Beginning as early as April 1, sewer pipe installation work will continue in the vicinity of your home/business.
  • This work will include installation in the grass area along Criston Drive from the intersection of Rodger Brown Drive and Criston Drive to the intersection of Criston Drive and River Bend Court.
  • Be aware, the work will continue into the intersection of River Bend Court and Criston Drive, and a temporary closure of the exit lane followed by the entrance lane will occur. During this time, flaggers will direct entering and exiting vehicles to the Waterman’s Crossing Apartments. The lanes will be opened at the end of each day with temporary asphalt, stone, or steel plates. Once the work at the intersection is complete, the contractors will reopen the entrance and restore normal traffic patterns.
  • This work should not affect your water or sewer services and is weather and situation dependent.
  • The entire installation is anticipated to be completed in 4-5 weeks and the work at the River Bend Court and Criston Drive intersection should be completed in 1-2 weeks. Due to the nature of construction, work is weather and situation dependent and dates are subject to change.

While our project team works diligently to minimize impacts, you may notice increased noise, traffic, crews, and heavy equipment (with back-up safety alarms) associated with construction. Please take care when traveling around the construction area and for your safety, do not enter the site.
