HRSD, your regional wastewater treatment utility, in coordination with the City of Williamsburg, is planning a project in your neighborhood to rehabilitate the existing HRSD sanitary sewer pipeline and manhole that is nearing the end of their useful life. This rehabilitation project will also improve the system’s performance and ensure continued, reliable sewer service in the future. Project Overview

The project is located adjacent to the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club along South England Street. This project includes single pipeline and manhole. This pipe and select manhole will be repaired within the HRSD easement. The owner of any private sewer service pipe that is found in need of repair, will be contacted. The contractor will maintain a clean job site and minimize traffic disruption.

Project Schedule
Inspection: August 2023
Construction Notice: Fall 2023 - Late 2023
Restoration: Immediately following construction when seasonably appropriate.
