Temporary Road Closure for Thru Traffic on Old Buckroe Road for Utility Work

HAMPTON – Motorists are advised that HRSD crews will be installing sanitary sewer pipelines on Old Buckroe Road as part of the Old Buckroe Road Sanitary Sewer Replacement project. During this work, motorists can follow a signed detour using Buckroe Avenue, Nickerson Boulevard, and Fox Hill Road as indicated on the map below. A single lane of traffic with flagging will be maintained for local traffic along Old Buckroe Road to access residences. The detour is scheduled to begin as early as October 16 and is expected to remain in place through the completion of the project in late 2023.
