Temporary Road Closure Scheduled on Douglas Avenue for Right-of-Way Restoration

PORTSMOUTH – Motorists are advised that HRSD contractors will be performing curb replacement and grass restoration within the right of way on Douglas Avenue between Bruce Place and Adriatic Street beginning August 24 and lasting through August 27 with pavement patching scheduled the week of August 31. During this work, traffic will follow a signed detour using Florida Avenue as indicated on the map below. Final roadway repaving within this area is expected to occur in September and will require periodic road closures.
