CHESAPEAKE – HRSD crews are installing sanitary sewer pipeline in Great Bridge Boulevard at the intersection of Neal Street. Work began on February 5 and is now expected to be completed in early March. 

• This work will require a passenger vehicle detour route for thru traffic for Great Bridge Boulevard as indicated on the map below. Residents within the “road closed to thru traffic” area will continue to have access. 
• Access for Crestwood Middle School will be via Joyner Road.
• TRUCK TRAFFIC NOTICE: Great Bridge Boulevard will be closed at both Bainbridge Boulevard and Campostella Avenue for thru truck traffic. Trucks will follow the detour using Dominion Boulevard and S. Military Highway. Detour signs and Portable Message Boards will be in place for the truck route.
