Road Closure, Flagging Operation at Old Lucas Creek Road in Newport News for Construction Activity
NEWPORT NEWS – Motorists are advised that HRSD crews crews are installing utilities at the Lucas Creek pump station as part of the Lucas Creek Pump Station Replacement. During this work, Old Lucas Creek Road will remain closed to through traffic. Residents and emergency vehicles will continue to have access to Old Lucas Creek Road with flaggers onsite to direct traffic. The detour is expected to remain in place until January 31. This road closure will be in place Monday through Friday during the hours of 8 a.m.- 3 p.m.
